Teknaf, Bangladesh: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized more than 3,199 Yaba(methamphetamine) tablets in Teknaf on October 16, said a local elder from Teknaf.

“BGB also arrested two Bangladeshi drug paddlers with a private car where they carrying the Yaba .”
The drug paddlers are: Kobir Ahamed (26) and Jaker Hossain, both are from Comilla district, official said.
On suspicions, BGB of Teknaf Battalion No. 42 personnel checked a private car where the BGB found Yaba tablets inside the seat.
The arrested yaba paddlers were handed over to Teknaf police station for further investigation, BGB source said.
The Teknaf police had filed a case against the arrestee in connection of Yaba smuggling.
Beside, police personnel from Cox’s Bazar raided and seized 1,500 Yaba tablets in front of hotel Sea Queen of Cox’s Bazar district on October 8, according to sources said.
