Maungdaw, Arakan State: Local from Fawatchang village under Kyrinchange village tract, attacked an authority informer where the informer become seriously injured on October 2, said a local from Fawetchange village.
“The informer, Kamal Hussion, is closely working with Burma border security force (Nasaka) personnel of area number 4 and the police force also.”
Kamal is disturbing the local to extort money, when the local denied paying the money to him, Kamal informed false information (crossing border, holding illegal Bnaladesh mobile, connection with Bangladesh) about the local to Nasaka or police, said an elder from Kyrinchanung.
“The Nasaka personnel and police personnel call the local for interrogation to their camps and demand money to release them.”
“The local become angry with Kamal and attacked his home at night at about 10:00pm with knifes and sticks where Kamal become seriously injured and admitted in Ktrinchaung Hospital.”
But, the authority (Nasaka and police) filed a case of robbery at Kamal resident and searching local people for interrogation and closed the border cross gate to stop the local leaving from their village, said a local who didn’t want his name.
