Two Civilians from Nam Sin Missing After Military Enter Village
Kachin State, Burma: Village headman U Naing Linn and Lagyawm Gun from Nam Sin In, have been missing after being abducted by government troops from LID No. 88 on Oct.19.
Villagers, who witnessed the abductions, said the military accused them of being members of the Kachin Independence Organization (KIO), even though both are civilians.
Now their relatives fear for the safety, and worry the men have been taken to the front line to serve as guides for the government armed forces.
