MNP Takes Two Seats In Ye Township

Aik Sai — Dr. Min Soe Linn and U Naing Thiha from Mon National Party (MNP) won seats in Ye Township constituency in Mon State. Fifty-three MNP candidates contested all the townships in Mon State during the elections.

“As said before the election started, I will carry out (tasks) for the social development of the Mon State and its people,” he said.

U Naing Thiha contested Upper House Constituency No 2 winning 10,832 votes.

Other parties’ candidates were Daw Naw Nu Nu Wah (NLD); U Bo Thaung (NLD); U Mya Thaung, also called U Bo Thaung (NLD); U Naing Sa Khaung Mon (AMDP); U Aung Naing Soe (USDP); U Naing Aung Ba (AMDP) and Dr. Myo Chit (USDP).
